Donations to RWJ Hamilton Cancer Center, Spring 2021

Hello Friends, Today I wanted to share Donations that I made to the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamiltons’ Cancer Center, Spring 2021. I wanted to share this post even though I made these Donations last year to give you inspiration or ideas for gift baskets/donation ideas and also to share what I created and donated. The 6 gift baskets that I made included a handmade (by me) crocheted tote bag with matching case, butterfly scrapbook decorations, composition notebook, adult coloring book, word search book, sticky note set, number 2 pack of Easter pencils and pack of Easter erasers, chewing gum, bag of hard candies, deck of playing cards, 24 pack of color pencils, mini notepads, and a pack of writing pens. I made each gift basket with a plastic bin container from the Dollar Tree and also the clear basket wrap is from Dollar Tree. Aside from the handmade crochet items, the items were purchased from Dollar Tree, Ollie’s, or Walmart. You can put together very affordable gift baskets for friends, family, or to donate. Remember you don’t have to spent a lot of money to do a small act of kindness. *All of these items were purchased by me.* I hope this gives you ideas for gift baskets or just a small gift idea.

Also, on this Donation drop off to The RWJ Cancer Center, I included handmade crochet items, all made by me. Altogether I made 32 chemo hats, 1 hat and scarf set, 4 shawls, and lap blankets. Below I will include pictures of the lap blankets, and the gift baskets. I didn’t get to take pictures of all of the items this time, I apologize, but I hope that this post gives you inspiration to donate items and some ideas for donations or gift giving.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post. I hope that all of you have a wonderful day! Thank you for following along on my blog!

Love Always, Your Friend, Taralynn
