Happy Holidays!

Hello Friends, I wanted to make a quick post today wishing everyone a wonderful, safe, healthy, and happy holiday season! Attached to this post I’ll be sharing pictures of my Christmas Tree with the crochet skirt that I made for it this year. My Christmas Tree is from Target. The Crochet Skirt is made with Redheart SuperSaver Yarn in the ColorWay ‘Mistletoe,’ and the border colors are scrap yarns in the colorways white, red, and green. I used a ‘J’ Sized Boye Ergonomic Crochet Hook. The Pattern that I used is The Lovey Pattern by Zee (Zeldanrj3 on YouTube). The only things that I changed about the pattern are that I made it longer and also I didn’t flip my work over after each row. I will link Zee’s YouTube Tutorial Video for this pattern below, it’s a beginner pattern, and she makes it very easy to follow with her instructions. I have used this pattern for all of my Christmas Tree Skirts that I’ve made for my trees in past years. This pattern works well if you have a small Christmas Tree with a skinny trunk (like mine) with removable legs. You just put around the bottom of your tree before you put the legs on your tree, just make sure your work is facing the right way up. For reference my Christmas Tree is 3ft. and the tree skirt is 23 inches by 23 inches (square). I think this pattern is just perfect for a Christmas Tree Skirt if you have a tree like mine. Also, you don’t have to use Christmas colors. You could make in silver or gold, or even rainbow, whatever you love and works best with your Christmas Tree and Decor. I hope that you enjoy the pictures and this has given you some inspiration for your own Christmas Tree skirt.

Thank you so much for following along with my blog and for your continuing love and support with my crochet and other works! 2022 was a busy and fun filled year with lots of crochet makes for family, friends, and donations. In 2022, I found new organizations/charities, to donate my crochet works, that I participated in and donated to as well as keeping up with donations with charities that I’m already involved in. I’m always looking for new charities/organizations locally and nationwide to help out in donating my crochet works. While I still have several blog posts left for 2022 to update you on to wrap up this year, I already have many crochet projects lining up for 2023! I have had this crochet blog for a year now, I’m loving sharing all of my crochet and other projects/donations with you, and I plan to continue this blog sharing along with you. This last week of December and of 2022, I’ll be working on updating this blog for 2022 and finishing up some last crochet projects for this year. Starting out 2023 with many new projects ahead that I’m really excited for and to share with you! I hope that my blog continues to inspire you to help others no matter how small or big. As always, thank you so much for all of your love and support! Sending all of you many virtual hugs and lots of love!

I hope that all of you have a wonderful day!

Happy Holidays!

Love Always, Your Friend, Taralynn ❤️
