Hello Friends, Today I wanted to share with you two shawls that I crocheted and donated recently to the charity, Wrapped In Love, here in my state of New Jersey. Wrapped In Love donates handmade shawls, blankets, and other items to family members of loved ones who have passed away and have given the gift of an organ/tissue donation to someone else which most likely saved that person’s life. I happened to find this charity when I was looking for more local places to donate my crochet work here in New Jersey. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and that I was able to make shawls for this organization. Both crochet shawls are made with the crochet pattern by Claire – her YouTube Channel is CrochetWithClaire. I just love her shawl pattern ‘Rainbow Granny Stitch Shawl,’ it’s a very beginner friendly pattern, works up pretty fast, and you can make in any colorway that you love! Below I will share pictures of the two crochet shawls that I made and donated to Wrapped In Love. The pink shawl is made with 3 Cakes of Redheart Roll With It Yarn in the ColorWay ‘Popular Pink,’ and also solid worsted 4 weight acrylic pink and gray yarns for the edging. The other shawl is made with 3 Cakes of Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee SugarWheel Yarn in the ColorWay ‘Honey Bunch.’ I think both shawls came out so beautiful! I hope that these shawls bring their recipients lots of love, comfort, and even a smile during some of the hardest times that they’re facing. Remember any act of kindness, no matter how small, can change a person’s life and make their day better in ways that we may never even know. Thank you so much for always following along in reading my blog and for all of your love and support! I love helping others and I’m so thankful to be blessed with my crochet talents and for the work that I’m able to do with it. I hope that all of you have a wonderful day and be back soon for more blog posts!
Love Always, Your Friend, Taralynn. 💜💕
