Hello Friends, Today I wanted to share with you pictures of crochet scrap blankets that I have made for my Rescue Chihuahua Dog, Zoey. I think that this a great way to use up your scrap yarns! Whether you are making blankets for your own pet, as a gift, or to donate to a local animal shelther, I think that this is a great crochet project! My Rescue Chihuahua loves these blankets that I make for her. As far as different patterns that I use, I usually keep them pretty simple. Some of the blankets are crochet granny squares, some are double crochet, and some I use two strands held together with a bigger crochet hook to make the blankets extra thick. I use 100% worsted 4 weight acrylic yarns (this type of yarn is my go to yarn so I always have plenty of scraps from other projects) to make these blankets. Also, this yarn is easiest to wash and dry so it is excellent if you are donating as well. As far as colors, I just love to mix it up with my blankets. You can make them as simple as you want and to me, the way you add the colors makes the blanket stand out more. I hope that you enjoy the pictures, that I have added below, of the blankets that I have made for My Rescue Chihuahua Dog, Zoey. As of now, she has a whole pile of them, she just loves them! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog post! I hope that all of you have a wonderful day and I will be back soon with more blog posts!
Love, Your Friend, Taralynn
