Hi Friends, today I wanted to share with you Preemie Baby Hats that I made for The Babies in a Texas NICU. My Crochet Friend Terri, Her YouTube Channel is ‘YarnJoy Podcast,’ crochets character hats for the babies in a Texas NICU each year, she’s been doing this for several years now. This year, I thought that I would make some beanies for The Preemie Babies at the NICU to help her with her yearly donations of baby hats. I crocheted 55 Preemie Hats in Total! I used 100% Worsted 4 Weight Acrylic Yarns (Scrap Verigated and Solid Colors that I had left over from other crochet projects). I used Boye H & I crochet hooks to make the sizes bigger and smaller. The crochet pattern I used is a free crochet preemie baby hat pattern from Kylee Keller, her Blog and Instagram are ‘okiegirlblingandthings.’ I will link her website below to this Crochet Preemie Baby Hat Pattern. This Preemie Baby Hat Pattern is very beginner friendly, very easy, and works up really fast! You can make many hats in just one sitting! I’m also sharing a picture below of 5 Crochet Preemie Baby Blankets that I made several years ago for the same NICU in Texas. I used Lion Brand Baby Yarns and a Boye Crochet H Hook to make them. I just used simple crochet granny square & double crochet patterns (I believe the crochet preemie baby blankets measured around 19 to 21 inches squared (length and width). I enjoyed making this Preemie Baby Hats and Preemie Baby Blankets and I hope that they bring the babies and their families a lot of comfort, happiness, and love.
Thank you so much, as always, for following and supporting My Blog, My Crochet Work, and all of My Other Random Acts of Kindness and Volunteer Works!
I hope that all of you have a wonderful day and be back soon with more blog posts!
Love Always, Your Friend, Taralynn 💜💕
