Hello Friends, Today I wanted to share with you Christmas Crochet Items that I made for My Dear Friend Terri for Christmas 2024 when we did a Christmas Yarn Swap/Gift Exchange. The first two pictures that I have posted below I think are wonderful crochet gifts for any time of the year, for an occasion, just changing up the theme of your kitchen towel. I crocheted Terri two Christmas Kitchen Towel Toppers. The Kitchen Towels, Hot Pads, Oven Mit, and Coffee/Tea Mug I purchased all from Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree has seasonal as well as other Kitchen Towel Sets that just make beautiful gift sets. The Crochet Kitchen Towel Topper Pattern is a free crochet pattern by Donna Wolfe, you can find the free crochet tutorial for it on YouTube, I will have the link for that crochet pattern at the end of this post. I absolutely love this Crochet Kitchen Towel Topper Pattern, it is my go to crochet pattern when making these for Kitchen Towel Sets. The pattern is very easy to work up and doesn’t take much time at all. The 1 inch buttons that I used for the kitchen towels I purchased from amazon, I will have the buttons linked below as well.
The next 5 pictures (that I have posted below) are of Crochet Food Amigurumi that I made for My Friend Terris’ Grandson, he loves playing kitchen and absolutely loved these crochet amigurumi. I am fairly new to making crochet amigurumi but I think that these items came out really cute. The Crochet Amigurumi CheeseBurger, French Fries, and IceCream were crochet patterns from the book, “Crochet Cafe” which I purchased from Amazon. The Crochet Amigurumi Pattern for the Soda Cup was from the book “Kawaii Crochet” which I also purchased from Amazon. Like I mentioned above, I am still fairly new to making Crochet Amigurumi; however, I love these two Crochet Amigurumi Books, I think that the crochet patterns are very well written and easy to understand. I didn’t add safety eyes to these items because they are for a young toddler, I wanted to make sure that they were made safe to play with. Also, I am still getting used to stuffing the Crochet Amigurumi but I think that with each amigurumi and the more practice of making them I get better each time. I will also link these two Crochet Amigurumi Books below in case you are interested in purchasing them. Both Crochet Amigurumi Books have so many beautiful patterns in each and I can’t wait to make more crochet items from these books!
My Friend Terri and her Grandson loved these Crochet Gifts and they were all so much fun to make! I hope that these crochet items gave you inspiration for Crochet Gift ideas to make or purchase for someone. As always, thank you so much for following along with My Crochet Blog. I absolutely love sharing all of the Crochet Items that I make whether they are for Family and Friends, or for Crochet Donations. I hope that you can always find inspiration from My Blog Posts whether it’s to create beautiful crochet items or even any handmade craft item, or to donate and help others in any way that you can. Remember no act of kindness is ever too small!
I hope that you have a wonderful day and be back soon for more blog posts!
Love Always, Your Friend, Taralynn
